KLIFF 2009 received 1,000 participants

The Kuala Lumpur Islamic Finance Forum (KLIFF) 2009 has been successfully held on 2-6 November 2009 in Hotel Nikko, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Organised by the Centre for Research and Training (CERT) in collaboration with the Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA), Messrs Hisham, Sobri & Kadir (HSK), and the International Institute of Islamic Finance (IIIF), the forum was attended by more than 1,000 participants which include professionals from the Islamic finance industry such as regulatory authorities, Shariah scholars, bankers, legal practitioners, Takaful operators, consultants, and academicians.

World Halal Forum (WHF) 2010

Issues on animal welfare and Halal regulations discussed at World Halal Forum Europe

The first session of the second day of the World Halal Forum (WHF) Europe in The Hague kicked off with deliberations on major issues and concerns in the Halal industry with regards to supply chain management, animal welfare and ritual slaughter.

 

The first regional World Halal Forum officially opened today

The first regional World Halal Forum (WHF) kicked off today at the World Forum Convention Centre in The Hague, Netherlands. Themed ‘Halal Potential – A Regional Focus’, WHF Europe began with a doa recitation followed by welcome remarks by the founder of the World Halal Forum, Hajjah Jumaatun Azmi, who is also the managing director of the organiser, KasehDia Sdn Bhd.

 

The World Halal Forum introduces its first regional event in Europe

Following the resolution of the 4th World Halal Forum (WHF), which was held in Kuala Lumpur on 4 and 5 May this year, the first regional World Halal Forum will be held in Europe on the 17 and 18 November 2009. Themed “Halal Potential – A Regional Focus”, this event will be conducted at The Hague, Netherlands in a world class facility: the World Forum Convention Centre.

IHMC 2009 Opens New Chapter for Brunei Halal Agenda

The 4th International Halal Market Conference (IHMC 2009) in Brunei Darussalam opened on 1st August to a packed auditorium, with all 450 seats taken to hear Brunei’s Ambassador-At-Large for Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, HRH Princess Hajah Masnah binti Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, deliver the keynote address.
