Following the fine tradition of promoting distinguished role models for the global Halal industry, The Halal Journal was proud to present the winners of this year’s Halal Journal Awards, held during the Gala Dinner at the third World Halal Forum on 12 May, 2008. Our panel of judges picked nine individuals and companies for their outstanding contributions in eight categories. All winners demonstrated their commitment, pioneering innovations and success in the Halal industry.

The Halal Journal Awards 2007: Honouring Outstanding Achievements in the Halal Industry
Nine outstanding companies and individuals were picked by our panel of judges for their outstanding contribution in eight different categories for The Halal Journal Awards 2007, all of whom have demonstrated nothing but commitment, pioneering innovations and success in the Halal industry. Held during the Gala Dinner of the World Halal Forum 2007, this year’s awards were presented by His Majesty The King, Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, in the presence of the Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi.

The Halal Journal Awards 2006: Meet the new role models for the Halal industry
In every industry, the celebration for the best happens almost every year. This year, for the first time ever, eight outstanding individuals in the Halal industry who have demonstrated nothing but commitment, pioneering innovation and success in the Halal industry were given due recognition and acknowledgement with the presentation of The Halal Journal Awards 2006. Singled out as the only awards ceremony dedicated to recognising milestones in the Halal industry, the aim of The Halal Journal Awards has been to promote and strengthen the Halal industry worldwide.
