THE HALAL JOURNAL AWARDS

At The Halal Journal, our aim from the beginning has been to promote and strengthen the Halal industry worldwide; to be a gathering place for news, information and opinion; to acknowledge and encourage excellence in the Halal industry.

As part of this aim, KasehDia Sdn Bhd, the publishers of The Halal Journal, have decided to instigate a programme of international annual awards, The Halal Journal Awards, to celebrate and honour success, innovation and hard work in this exciting emerging market.

The Halal Journal Awards, in several different categories, will be presented during the Gala Dinner at The World Halal Forum on 8th May 2006.

The awards will be presented by Encik Khairy Jamaluddin, the World Halal Forum Chairman and Puan Jumaatun Azmi, Editor of The Halal Journal, in the presence of the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

With the growing importance of The Halal Journal as a media platform, these awards will be increasingly sought-after and become important milestone for companies to achieve. The winners will receive the recognition and acknowledgement of their peers, the industry leaders in the World Halal Forum.

The winners will also be promoted in the press via a news release to be sent to all relevant publications and media partners. There will be a special segment dedicated to the awards in the post-Forum press conference, highlighting the winners and carrying comments from them.

The Halal Journal will also cover the winners in all elements of The Halal Journal brand media which include, Magazine, Television, Documentary, and Website.

The winners will also be able to include the Halal Journal Awards logo in their promotional material.
