KAZAKHSTAN: 7th WIEF witnesses signing of commercial agreements between Malaysia & Kazakhstan companies

Astana, Kazakhstan 9 June 2011 – Four commercial agreements, among others, were signed during the 7th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) between Malaysian and Kazakhstan companies, an encouraging sign of further collaborations between companies in the two countries.
The agreements that were signed were as follows :-
1. Memorandum Of Understanding between My E.G.Services Berhad (Malaysia) and JSC National Information Technology (Kazakhstan) to undertake the deployment of skilled expertise in the area of informatization by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan
2. Memorandum of Understanding between MIMOS Berhad (Malaysia) and ZERDE (Kazakhstan) to jointly undertake to cooperate as strategic business and technology parters in the ICT field in Kazakhstan
3. Agreement of strategic partnership between Amanahraya Capital Group (Malaysia) and JSC Fattah Finance to establish a Haj pilgrimage saving fund in Kazakhstan
4. Agreement between Halagel (M) Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) and Fattah Shop Company (Kazakhstan) to undertake the marketing of Halal products in Kazakshtan
Tun Musa Hitam, Chairman of the WIEF said, “This is what the WIEF is all about – bringing businessman together to talk, to network, to do business. We have helped facilitate the partnerships between these four Malaysian companies and their Kazakhstan partners which is an endorsement of our objective to “Build Bridges through Business”.
