Halal Scanner is an innovative one of a kind Islamic iPhone app that aims to solve this problem by providing a database of food additives that users can either search or scan using the iPhone 3GS camera.
The core features of Halal Scanner are Scan, Search, and Browse. With the Scan features, users can take a photo of the ingredients label using the iPhone camera and Halal Scanner will process and automatically determine the halal statuses of the food additives found in the product.
