The Middle East’s first international Islamic exhibition will be held in Dubai from March 18 to 20.

Titled ‘Salvation’, the three-day event will run alongside the Dubai International Peace Convention (DIPC) at Dubai Airport Expo.

Organised by Al Manar Quran Study Centre in partnership with Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department of Dubai, the event will highlight the humanitarian efforts of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

“Peaceful co-existence could only be possible by better understanding. And that could only be achieved by promoting education,” organisers said.

The Peace Convention would open up opportunities to mend ties and further strengthen relations, they said.

World renowned speakers from the US, the UK, Canada, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India and other countries will speak on topics that will help remove many misconceptions about the religion and the culture to develop better understandings, organisers said at a Press conference.

Halal Bazaar, another attraction of DIPC, will showcase Shariah-complaint Halal products. Salvation will cover more than100, 000 square feet area at the East Hall of the Airport Expo. Over 300 exhibits will guide visitors thematically through different aspects of Islamic teachings.

A message pavilion at the event has been created in a way to answer all questions pertaining to religion intellectually. Organisers expect hundreds of visitors to this pavilion.

An array of exhibits from the Holy Quran on embryology, history, geology and astronomy and other scientific facts are expected to generate great interest to general public and would help them understand the very nature and enable them to reflect, organisers said.
