And Muhammad is His Messenger…It is a phrase we say everyday, flowing off our tongues so easily and habitually that all too often we never stop for a moment to ask ourselves, what does it really mean?

We might have thought we have heard about the Seerah of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) before, but have we? If the Seerah we have heard before is just a story to us, and nothing more, then we have not truly heard it. If our eyes do not shed tears pondering over his life, then we do not truly know him. If our spirits and moral character are not uplifted learning from his life and example, then we have not experienced the Seerah.
