Standardisation is not a new fad. It is something that has become a practice since the beginning of recorded history and has been practiced to ensure the survival of mankind in an environment which is increasingly complex. The Muslim world desperately needs a unified [Halal] standard in order to achieve a well distributed economic growth within the OIC.
