The Strategic Rice and Food Security Conference(FOSECO)

To be held back-to-back with the World Halal Forum-Industry Dialogue (WHF-ID) Sarawak, the Strategic Rice and Food Security Conference (FOSECO) will also be held at the Sarawak Convention Centre in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia in August 2009.

FOSECO is a timely platform bringing together worldwide experts and leaders to outline and evaluate the current scenario and issues, as well as debate solutions and opportunities that the current world food crisis presents. The conference will provide all stakeholders, including policy makers, industry leaders, business communities and media a full understanding of the forces causing the food crisis, the ideal solutions and the myriad of opportunities it presents for the rice industry.
