New Foodzone in Kiulap

Bandar Seri Begawan - Based on the concept of quality and affordable halal dim sum, Foodzone has become the leading halal dim sum outlets for the local market and the opening of its third branch in Brunei Muara District at the Syakirin Complex, Kiulap, is an evident of its commanding presence in the market.
James Teo and Mr Tan, the partners who come up with the winning recipe said, “We have actually make dim sum affordable for everyone ($9 for five dim sum baskets) and to ensure the quality of the Dim Sum is of top notch, we have recruited a Dim Sum chef from Dynasty."
"When we first started in Foodzone Gadong Properties in year 2003, people find our Dim Sum very good and it was very successful from day one:"He continued, "It has been very good since then, we received great feedback from our custorners."
After its first branch, Foodzone opened its second branch in Yayasan two years ago and started offering more than Dim Sum, with other Chinese food. James Teo explained, "The ala carte menu came from customers’ request and we do not want to stick only to Dim Sum, we want to continue building its reputation by providing good halal food."
On the competitiveness of food business, James said, “I feel that Brunei is the most competitive food business in the world; if you compare the number of restaurants with the population of Brunei, I think you will have the highest ratio in the world. To be successful, we always have to come up with new ideas. It also took a lot of hard work to succeed."
